Chinese astrology, in Chinese named BaZi is what began my journey info studying Feng Shui. My first experience with BaZi was when the Chinese doctor I went to explained my life history to date from my BaZi chart. It was told in 5 minutes true facts that were compiled from my hour, day, month and year born. When the accuracy and truth of events that had already happened were explained to me I almost fell out of the chair. I had never heard of this thing called BaZi and wondered how this man knew all these personal truths about me???

There are many names for this chart, here are a few; BaZi, 4 Pillars of destiny and 8 Words. I was taught by traditional Feng Shui Masters that had the information passed down to them from over 1000 years ago.

This chart is based on a person’s time, day, month and year of birth and how the 5 elements are placed in their birth chart.

The balance of these elements will define the best direction and locations for a person to live and work, as well as have great happiness in their relationships, career, wealth, family and self. The goal is to achieve balance in all the 5 elements.

There is also information about your current 10 year luck cycle and this shows the influence the 10 year pillar you are living in is having on your life. Good or bad.

Then the current year also has energy that affects your relationships, wealth, health, career and family. This is all understood from a BaZi chart.

I still am amazed when I do a strangers chart and share with them the information it shows, and they always say the information is true.  Knowing the positives and negatives of a chart help you to be prepared whether you will have a windfall come your way, or a hurricane. Either way you want to be prepared!!!! That is what birth charts do when read. They allow you to be prepared for good or bad and then you choose the path you will take. Its only a tool to enhance your life.
